Jo, originally from the mountains in upstate New York, was drawn to the Outer Banks and its warmer weather and ocean waves. She has been in the veterinary field for over 20 years and can't imagine doing anything else! When Jo is not at work, she is probably at the beach with her wife, Jamie, relaxing in the sun or walking the shoreline to look for treasures. Jo also volunteers for N.E.S.T (Network for Endangered Sea Turtles) and also helps to keep our beaches and community clean! She has 3 fur-babies; a lhasapoo named Bonesy and pictured is her collie Okalani. She has recently rescued another collie named Kai.
