In December 2024, we excitedly welcomed Dr. Segarra to our team. Dr. Segarra was born in Puerto Rico and graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts. Her clinical year was practiced at UC Davis. For several years, she worked on many species until she decided to focus on small animal medicine and surgery.

While not taking care of our clients and patients at MPVH, she enjoys outdoor activities, including hiking and visiting our gorgeous Outer Banks beaches! Filling her home are her pups, Leila and Maia (pictured) and her perfect cat Gia.
